From our base near Toronto we meet the stairlift needs of our customers in southern Ontario, from Niagara to Kingston, providing sales, professional installation and service. Outside the GTA we have trained distributors throughout Canada, from the Maritimes in the east to Victoria in the west.
Stannah stairlifts are built to comply with the codes of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Canadian Welding Bureau. What to expect when working with us?
Since the start of the COVID pandemic, our focus has been on keeping you and your family safe. We now offer virtual appointments and video consults to discuss the best stairlift options for your home and, when it comes time to install your stairlift, we offer contact-free installation!
If your stairs make a turn, we'll make a stairlift that fits the shape of the staircase, which means taking very accurate measurements. We were the first manufacturer to develop a system for doing this, using a digital camera and computer to do the measuring - it's more accurate than a tape-measure, and means that installations takes just a couple of hours.
Installation usually takes about 2-3 hours. We'll then spend as long as you need showing you how to use the chair and making any necessary adjustments (such as to the seat-height). When you're completely satisfied, we ask for the balance of payment.
